Meeting the Wiggles!!

On Wednesday we went to see the Wiggles in Greenville, SC. It was a long drive, but worth it. It was Jeremy, Mary and me and my friend Lori and her little girl Natalie. Mary is a huge Wiggles fan and knows all the songs and dances. Thanks to our kiddos with special needs... we had great seats in the "Hot Potato" section (3rd row) and we were able to attend a Meet and Greet where we met the Wiggles. It was great fun!!

Halloween Murder Mystery!

On October 27th, our good friends, Doug and Joanna, threw there annual Murder Myster Halloween Party. The theme was the wild west. The setting was a poker game in a saloon. Our friends went all out and converted every inch of there home into a western saloon.

Jeremy was Billy the Kid (a suspect) and I was a saloon girl (not a suspect.) We had a blast!! After an evening filled with laughter and great food, we successfully found the killer.

Here I am with the other saloon ladies. My good friends, Andrea and Jaime. Do you like my dress? I am proud to say that I made it myself... I actually used a sewing machine and everything!

Buddy Walk 2007

On October 13th family and friends joined us at the DSAA
Buddy Walk. Our team, Team M&M, raised over $1500 for Down Syndrome awareness. It was a beautiful day filled with games, food and entertainment. Chris Burke, Corky from the hit 80's TV series Life Goes On, perfomed with his band. Ginny won a door prize. Unfortunately, it was wine and since she doesn't drink it wasn't very useful. She gave it to a fellow team member who could enjoy it. Thank you so much to all of you who supported us in this cause that is so dear to us.

Mary's First School Pictures!!

Yeah! Mary's first school pictures! Mary is attending a local church pre-school and doing great. We knew pictures were going to be taken soon so we practiced on smiling on command with her tongue in. She mastered it a few days before pictures. I think she did pretty well, huh? I was so proud of how well she followed direction and sat still. She looks like such a big girl! I can't believe she is almost 3! My baby is growing up!

Amelia is 2 months old!

My sweet Amelia is becoming a baby instead of a newborn!! She is doing great! Her heart is perfectly healthy and she is as strong as can be! She is in the process of beginning the Babies Can't Wait early intervention process and will start physical therapy soon. Her evaluation went great and they classified her as having mild hypotonia (low-muscle tone.) She is batting at objects and cooing. We have gotten a few real smiles out of her and I can't wait for more.

Now that our family has grown, we have decided to create a site to keep our family and friends far and near up to date.
